Jadyn Zeng

I enrolled in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto thinking I would pursue biomedical engineering because the work in the field is, quite simply, mind-blowing. But a part of me always knew that all I wanted was to build cool technology.

During the summer after my first year, working at The Maikawa Lab showed me the intersection of those interests. There, I designed three electromechanical tools from end to end to support the development of experimental materials for drug delivery.

After that experience, I knew I wanted to strengthen my mechatronics skills and continue developing automation tools that can make a difference faster. I am now a third-year Robotics Engineering student seeking to build professional experience in automation and embedded systems, with a passion for biotechnology and building from end to end.
